Hawaiian Airlines Launches Complimentary WiFi Service

Hawaiian Airlines introduces complimentary WiFi service using SpaceX's Starlink, starting on flights from Honolulu to Long Beach, expanding to the A321neo fleet, A330s, and Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners.
Hawaiian Airlines has made a significant stride in enhancing passenger experience by introducing its complimentary WiFi service, marking a milestone as the first major U.S. airline to utilize SpaceX's Starlink satellite service for in-flight connectivity. This service, which debuted on a flight from Honolulu to Long Beach, California, sets a new standard for in-flight amenities among large U.S. carriers, joining JSX as another operator leveraging the advanced capabilities of Starlink.
The rollout of this service will commence with Hawaiian's Airbus A321neo fleet, with plans to equip all 18 A321neo aircraft with the necessary antennas by the upcoming spring. The expansion will continue across the airline's long-haul fleet, with the Airbus A330s expected to offer the service by the end of this year. Additionally, the upcoming Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners will also feature this complimentary WiFi service upon their delivery, ensuring that passengers across Hawaiian's widebody fleet can enjoy high-speed internet connectivity above the clouds.
This initiative reflects Hawaiian Airlines' commitment to providing a superior travel experience by offering modern, value-added services that meet the evolving needs and expectations of today's travelers.
