Heathrow Airport has unveiled the transformation of its exclusive VIP suite, now rebranded as The Windsor by Heathrow. This newly upgraded terminal promises a discreet, luxury experience, providing high-profile guests with a personalized service that blends modern elegance with British hospitality. The first phase of the refurbishment, which includes new lounges, a redesigned atrium, and curated artwork, sets a new benchmark for luxury travel.
A World-Class VIP Experience
The Windsor Suite offers unparalleled VIP services, including private chauffeurs, butler service, and a personal shopper. The space features Michelin-starred dining by Jason Atherton and provides guests with exclusive access to some of the world’s most iconic artworks, including pieces by Banksy and Andy Warhol. Guests can even purchase artworks through a simple QR code next to each piece.
With prices starting at £3,812 for up to three guests, The Windsor caters to ultra-high-profile travelers, including world leaders and A-list celebrities, ensuring that each detail of their journey is seamless and relaxing.
A Home Away From Home
Designed by the award-winning Oliver Burns Studio, The Windsor combines luxury interiors with contemporary design, featuring bespoke furnishings crafted by local artisans. Collaborations with luxury brands like Tom Dixon and Commune enhance the refined atmosphere, while AUGUST&PIERS offers home fragrance products for an added sensory experience.
Art as Part of the Journey
The Windsor also functions as a private art gallery, showcasing works from modern British artists like David Hockney and Tracey Emin, as well as American icons such as Andy Warhol. The collection is refreshed every two months, ensuring an evolving yet timeless experience for every guest.
Tanya Baxter, curator at Tanya Baxter Contemporary, played a key role in curating the art collection, bringing over 25 years of expertise to the project.
Fine Dining by Jason Atherton
Guests can indulge in a fine dining experience created by Jason Atherton, a Michelin-starred chef, with dishes such as his signature English butter shortbread with praline cream and Earl Grey tea ice cream. Atherton has been curating the menu since 2016, elevating the dining experience at The Windsor.
With over £3 million invested in this refurbishment, Heathrow is poised to remain a global leader in luxury airport services. The Windsor by Heathrow redefines what it means to travel in style, offering discreet, efficient services that ensure every guest enjoys an exceptional, seamless journey.
