Hyatt adds four hotels to Unbound Collection
Hyatt Hotels Corporation has announced four new additions to The Unbound Collection by Hyatt, marking the brand’s 10th anniversary with continued expansion across the Americas in 2026.
The new properties include The Georgian in Santa Monica, Hotel 1000 in Seattle, Cayo Levantado Resort in the Dominican Republic and The Clayfield in Niagara-on-the-Lake, Canada. Together, they reflect the brand’s focus on distinctive, independently styled hotels with strong local identity and storytelling.
Established in 2016, The Unbound Collection by Hyatt brings together a portfolio of independent hotels and resorts known for their character, design and service. The latest additions highlight a mix of urban, coastal and resort destinations.
Hotel 1000 in Seattle offers a design-driven urban retreat near the city’s waterfront, featuring 120 rooms and interiors inspired by the Pacific Northwest. The property blends contemporary design with local elements, including views of Puget Sound and curated dining experiences rooted in regional identity.
In California, The Georgian returns as a restored landmark along Santa Monica’s Ocean Avenue. Originally opened in 1933, the art deco hotel has been revived with 84 rooms, preserving its historic character while introducing modern luxury amenities and dining venues.
Cayo Levantado Resort, set on a private island in the Dominican Republic, is expected to join the collection this summer. The 218-suite property focuses on wellness and immersive guest experiences, offering a mix of nature-based activities, personalized service and holistic spa programs.
Meanwhile, The Clayfield is scheduled to open in mid-2026 in Canada’s Niagara wine region. The hotel will emphasize contemporary design inspired by the surrounding vineyards, alongside wellness experiences and partnerships with local wineries.
Hyatt said the additions underline the brand’s continued growth and commitment to offering unique hospitality experiences. Further expansion is planned for 2027, with new openings in Savannah, Georgia, and Mendoza, Argentina.
