ITA Airways Amplifies Japan-Italy Connections with Daily Flights Between Tokyo and Rome

ITA Airways is set to enhance air travel between Japan and Italy by increasing the frequency of its nonstop flights from Tokyo Haneda to Rome Fiumicino. The airline has announced the addition of two more weekly flights, taking the total to seven, thereby offering a daily service to accommodate the growing demand for travel between the two capitals.

This expansion comes on the heels of the notable success ITA Airways witnessed on the Tokyo-Rome route, which was initiated at the end of 2022. The move not only reflects the airline's commitment to serving the strategic market of Japan but also its dedication to catering to both business and leisure travelers seeking direct and efficient connections.

The summer schedule for the Tokyo Haneda to Rome Fiumicino route is meticulously planned, with departures from Tokyo set for 12:25 am local time, arriving in Rome at 8:10 pm local time. Return flights from Rome are scheduled for 2:55 pm local time, with an arrival in Tokyo at 10:25 am the following day, ensuring convenience for passengers.

Furthermore, ITA Airways is continuing its expansion with the introduction of direct flights from Rome Fiumicino to several key destinations across North America, Africa, and the Middle East. This includes new routes to Chicago, Toronto, Riyadh, Accra, Kuwait City, Dakar, and Jeddah launching throughout the spring and summer of 2024.

In total, ITA Airways plans to operate 57 destinations during the summer of 2024, encompassing domestic, international, and intercontinental flights. Additionally, the airline will introduce 10 seasonal routes to popular Mediterranean tourism spots, enhancing its offerings to include destinations like Greece, Spain, Croatia, and various Italian islands.

These new intercontinental destinations complement the airline's existing long-haul flights to cities such as New York, Boston, Miami, Los Angeles, Washington D.C., San Francisco, São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Buenos Aires, Tokyo, and New Delhi.
