More Flights to Krakow Are Now Available Thanks to Turkish Airlines

Turkish Airlines has expanded its presence in Poland by adding a new destination.

The carrier now flies to Krakow as its second destination in Poland after Warsaw, the capital. Turkish Airlines, which is celebrating its 90th birthday soon, has ambitious plans for both fleet and network expansion.

Turkish Airlines now offers flights to Krakow. This city is known for being the center of culture, science, and art. Turkish Airlines has begun connecting Krakow to Istanbul with tickets starting at $255. Turkish hopes to take advantage of the tourists that visit Krakow every year.

Turkish Airlines will fly to Krakow with narrowbody aircraft on a weekly basis, three times per week. The flights will be operated on Mondays and Wednesdays. Levent Konukcu commented on the matter.

"As the airline flying to more countries than any other in the world, we are glad to add Krakow, our second destination in Poland after Warsaw, to our flight network. With this route, our flag carrier has reached 343 destinations in 129 countries. We will operate 3 weekly reciprocal flights to Krakow, the historic former capital of Poland. We are connecting Krakow to the world with Turkish Airlines' unique flight experience."

Turkish Airlines is the largest airline in terms of destinations. It has now increased its number of destinations to 343 with the addition of Krakow. Linda Dessau, Governor of Victoria in Australia, recently visited Turkey with an Australian delegation. She met with Turkish Airlines Chairman Ahmet Bolat to discuss flight opportunities to Australia.

In the next 10 years, the airline plans to have over 800 aircraft in its fleet. Airbus A319 A320 A321, A330 and A350 are among the airline's fleet of current aircraft. Boeing 737, 737MAX, 777 and 787 Dreamliner also make up the airline's fleet.

Turkish currently has over 385 aircraft with an average age per ch-aviation of 10.2 Years. By the end of 2018, Turkish Airlines aims to have around 435 aircraft. The airline plans to expand its network by 400 destinations over the next decade.

Turkish Airlines finished 2022 as well with a profit of $2.7 billion and over 71 millions passengers. The airline has exceeded its capacity for 2019 in all international destinations, except the Middle East.
