Motto by Hilton makes its European debut
The very first Motto by Hilton hotel to launch in the EMEA area is part of the group's ongoing global growth.
As a result of Hilton’s collaboration with Borealis Hotel Group, the lifestyle concept can now be found in Rotterdam, Netherlands.
On the occasion of the opening, Bart van de Kamp, CEO of Borealis Hotel Group, commented:
"With its central location in the heart of the city's cultural and lifestyle hub, the Motto Rotterdam Blaak is well placed to capture international and national demand. The hotel is a perfect complement to our developments in Rotterdam, and further strengthens our position in the Netherlands.
“In addition, we are delighted to partner again with Hilton, with whom we have several hotels in Europe, to bring continental Europe's first Motto hotel to this great city and we look forward to welcoming our first guests next year."
The 108 rooms of the Motto by Hilton Rotterdam Blaak include 14 connecting suites. There are a variety of sleeping arrangements possible, from single beds to twin beds to fold-up "flex beds" that may be stored in the wall.
The hotel's convenient online booking tool allows visitors to reserve up to nine adjoining rooms at once, so large groups may take advantage of the hotel's Confirmed Connecting Rooms. This is convenient for solo travelers who want more space, as well as families and big groups that want to be near together.
The hotel provides numerous dining options. The new building is host to the second Amsterdam seafood restaurant Pesca. It provides fluctuating prices throughout the day in response to customer demand. Guests can also enjoy a pub and a gathering hub called Motto Commons.
Hilton's Motto Rotterdam Blaak is conveniently located adjacent to the city's liveliest and most popular areas, including the Markthal, the Witte de With, the Boijmans Van Beuningen Museum, the Old Port, the Rotterdam Maritime Museum, and the Cube Houses.
The hotel is nestled in a beautifully renovated house that was formerly a bank. Its signature red, yellow, and blue color combination is a nod to the city's association with the Modernist art movement.
Rotterdam was selected the city of choice as the first European hub featuring a Motto property owing to its vibrant culture, which makes it one of the continent's most promising destinations.
