MSC World Asia Unveils Bold New Family Entertainment lineup

Cruise Lines & Cruise Ships

MSC Cruises is raising the bar for family holidays at sea with the entertainment lineup aboard its newest flagship, MSC World Asia. The ship, set to sail seven-night Mediterranean itineraries calling at Barcelona, Marseille, Naples, Rome, Messina, and Valletta, promises an onboard experience unlike anything the cruise line has offered before.

At the centre of the ship's family offering is the Family Aventura District, a dedicated hub housing several of the headline venues. MSC Luna Park Arena leads the charge with a fully interactive floor that transforms into an immersive gaming arena — a first for any MSC ship. Three original game shows will run there: Code Breakers, Labyrinth, and Chart Toppers, each designed to get the whole family competing.

The Clubhouse brings a retro-themed space packed with activities including roller skating, bumper cars, a LEGO Family Zone, and sports sessions led by professional coaches. Fan favourites like Guinness World Records and MasterChef at Sea Juniors return in refreshed formats, alongside new high-energy additions.

Outside, The Harbour takes the open-air theme park concept to new levels. Highlights include Europe's first over-water swing — dubbed Cliffhanger — the longest dry slide at sea, an Adventure Trail rope course, and waterslides. A new area called The Play Deck offers a relaxed outdoor space for younger children. As evening falls, The Harbour transforms into an illuminated outdoor entertainment zone with an extended night programme.

Teen entertainment gets a notable upgrade too, with Yuna — a new AI avatar — hosting exclusive events including a K-Pop Party and Boogie Roller Party, with dedicated teen-only sessions across the ship's main venues.

Doremiland, the ship's kids club spanning over 1,000 square metres on Deck 19, caters to every age group from babies to teenagers, featuring gaming zones, an arcade, an MSC Formula Racer simulator, and two brand-new LEGO-themed rooms — one inspired by Asian landmarks, one dedicated to Formula 1.
