Norwegian Escape – Norwegian Cruise Line largest ship
The giant 164,600 ton Norwegian Escape, built in Germany in only 17 months, will arrive and will be inaugurated in Miami on November 9th
Escape is the fifth largest cruise ship ever built and the 14th of the company's fleet. It is considered to be a mega-resort with a 4.200 passengers capacity, holding premium elevated features such as immense deck-top fun zones and spa, a restaurant-lined boardwalk, a dedicated nursery, a miniature golf course, private basketball bocce ball courts, to provide the ultimate cruise-ship experience.
The "ship-within-a-ship" area, called “The Haven”, is equipped with its own private pool, restaurant, butler service and concierge and is the largest and most luxurious in the whole fleet.
Larger than Norwegian Getaway ship, Norwegian Escape accounts for the company’s new Breakaway Plus Class, expanding the brand’s freedom and flexibility for premium cruises, as Andy Stuart, Norwegian Cruise Line president and chief operating officer stated:

The ship will be christened in its home-port in Miami on November 9th.
