Parker to lead new Four Seasons Hotel London
Four Seasons Hotel London was reopened on 31 January 2011, after two years in which they have invested 125 million pounds in its renovation. Also on January 31 there was inaugurated the hotel's new restaurant, Amaranto Italian which is overseen by executive chef Adriano Cavagnini and has a capacity of 150 seats. Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts Company was founded in 1960 in Canada and currently owns 85 Four Seasons hotels in 35 countries.
The new General Manager of the Four Seasons Hotel in London, the famous Charlie Parker - who was appointed and hotelier of the year in many years - promises a whole new experience in future Four Seasons hotel in London. The main novelty of the hotel is represented by the Italian Restaurant Amaranto, by the reduction in the number of bedrooms from 219 to 192, the addition of yet another floor built exclusively of glass, where he hotel's spa, a gym and a lounge are located. Much of the design concept is the integration of Hyde Park,with emphasis on plants and greenery.The hotel's interior was designed by designer Pierre -Yves Rochon, who is also responsible for renovating the Savoy Hotel in London. Yves Rochon also designed Four Seasons Hotels in Paris, Florence, Beijing and Washington DC.
Regarding the restaurant, Amaranto is overseen by executive chef Adriano Cavagnini, which has joined the hotel crew, coming from the Hotel Eden in Rome. He will lead the kitchen along with Chef Davide Degiovanni . The restaurant is located on the ground floor and has a separate entrance from the street, also it has 3 lounge areas, a main dining room, a bar, a private dining room with 20 seats and a terrace with garden.
