PizzaExpress Debuts Breakfast Menu Exclusively at London Gatwick

London Gatwick Airport now offers an exclusive breakfast menu at the new PizzaExpress, marking the brand's first venture into breakfast offerings in the UK.
PizzaExpress Introduces Exclusive Breakfast Menu at London Gatwick
This summer, London Gatwick Airport welcomes a novel dining experience for travelers, as PizzaExpress opens its doors in the South Terminal on May 20th. Notably, this will be the first PizzaExpress in the UK to offer a dedicated breakfast menu, serving a variety of morning treats from 3:30 am to 11:00 am daily.
A First in UK Airports
The new PizzaExpress location at Gatwick marks the brand’s first airport-based restaurant in the UK and introduces an innovative breakfast concept unique to this venue. The menu features an array of options tailored to morning travelers, including an Italian Bacon & Egg pizza adorned with crispy pancetta and a Smashed Avocado & Poached Eggs dish served on freshly baked dough.
Diverse Morning Offerings
Additional breakfast specialties include 'The Full Works,' which creatively adapts the classic English breakfast with Dough Sticks, and the Pancetta & Maple Syrup Pancakes. For a lighter start, guests can enjoy Breakfast Dough Balls served with jam.
Continued Excellence Post-Breakfast
Post-breakfast hours, starting from 11 am, PizzaExpress will transition to its classic menu. This includes beloved items such as the spicy American Hot pizza, the vegetarian Padana, and a selection of calzones, salads, pastas, and desserts. The venue aims to cater to a wide range of tastes throughout the day, ensuring that all visitors can find something to enjoy.
Gatwick's Evolving Dining Scene
Jonathan Pollard, Chief Commercial Officer at London Gatwick, expressed enthusiasm about the new addition, stating, "We are delighted to welcome PizzaExpress to London Gatwick. It represents a fantastic expansion of our South Terminal departure lounge offerings, enhancing our commitment to providing passengers with diverse and high-quality dining options."
Chris Holmes, Chief Development Officer at PizzaExpress, highlighted the strategic importance of the new location: "Opening at London Gatwick allows us to reach a wide array of international and domestic travelers, offering them the chance to enjoy their favorite PizzaExpress dishes and try our new breakfast offerings. We are excited to make the airport a gateway not only to global destinations but also to exceptional cuisine."
Celebrating the Holiday Spirit
Holmes added, "We all know the holiday starts the moment you arrive at the airport. From early morning breakfasts to late-night dinners, there’s nowhere better to celebrate that holiday feeling than at PizzaExpress London Gatwick."
The launch of PizzaExpress at Gatwick is part of the airport's ongoing efforts to enhance its food and beverage offerings, following the recent introductions of other popular brands such as The Breakfast Club, Brewdog, and Greggs.
