A New Hilton Hotel To Be Opened in France
The first Hilton hotel in France will be built in the city of Lille, the company stated.
The 124-room Hilton Lille, situated in the heart of the city, will maintain its current name and operations while undergoing a multimillion-euro restoration in preparation for its complete rebranding under Hilton Hotels & Resorts in 2024.
According to Hilton's senior vice president of development for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, Patrick Fitzgibbon, Hilton Group's portfolio in France is on a strong growth trajectory, as the company currently operates more than 45 properties trading or under construction.
The brand demand has been a driving force in the group's expansion, which has allowed it to build its portfolio of properties in many strategic locations. When the Hilton Lille opens its doors to visitors next year, it will be a welcome addition to Lille's flourishing market.
The Hilton Lille will be a luxurious, centrally located hotel that caters to both business and leisure guests. The hotel's restaurant, Europa, will have a mezzanine level for guests to enjoy their meals, while other amenities include a bar called COOPER that serves a variety of drinks, as well as a fully-stocked gym.
A new executive lounge space, complete with free food and drinks, will also be included in the hotel's renovation. The seven meeting rooms at the Hilton Lille will total 360 square meters, making them perfect for business and social gatherings alike.
