Air Mauritius to purchase new Airbus A350s jets

News

In order to better serve its customers in Europe and South Asia, the carrier aims to buy three more A350 aircraft.

Air Mauritius will add three A350s to its fleet, bringing the total number of cutting-edge aircraft to seven. The airline has four A350s and four A330s in its fleet at the moment.

After three decades of working together, Air Mauritius reaffirms its trust in Airbus and all of its offerings. According to the airline's CEO, the company may increase its presence in Europe and other areas with the extra A350-900s. CEO Mr. Kresimir Kucko expressed his optimism that Air Mauritius and Airbus will be able to accomplish their lofty goals.

Christian Scherer, CCO and Head of International at Airbus, also stated with the occasion:

“We compliment Air Mauritius on putting the A350 at the heart of its long-haul fleet modernisation programme. With greater range capability, better economics, passenger capacity and comfort, the A350 is the perfect platform to connect the beautiful island of Mauritius to the world.”

The A350 is the result of a ground-up redesign that incorporates cutting-edge technology and aerodynamics to achieve previously unattainable levels of economy and passenger comfort. It has the best fuel efficiency of any major wide-body aircraft because to its next-generation engines and lightweight construction. The A350 has a noise footprint that is 50 percent less than that of previous-generation aircraft, making it the least noisy aircraft in its class.

When it comes to range, comfort, and modernity, the A350 is unrivalled among aircraft with 300-410 seats. There is no other commercial air-plane family that can match the A350's non-stop range of 9,700 nautical miles.
