Brussels Airport has unveiled its plans for this season, with Brussels Airlines boosting its flight frequency to West Africa. The intercontinental network is set to expand as well, with Qatar Airways increasing its weekly flights to Doha from seven to ten times and Etihad Airways enhancing its Abu Dhabi service from five to seven flights per week.
TUI fly, having already expanded its North Africa offerings during the summer, is extending its reach into the winter season, introducing Algiers and Tunis into its schedule. This expansion translates to ten destinations in Morocco, five in Algeria, and three in Tunisia, alongside winter flights to the Dominican Republic, Cuba, and Mexico.
Winter sports enthusiasts will have a broad selection of destinations to choose from, including Innsbruck and Salzburg in Austria, as well as Kittila and Kuusamo in Finland. The airport's sources revealed that several airlines, such as Transavia, Swiss, SAS, Vueling, SunExpress, and Brussels Airlines, have significant increases in flight frequencies in the pipeline for the upcoming winter season. Egypt, featuring Cairo, Hurghada, Marsa Alam, Sharm-El-Sheikh, Luxor, and the Cape Verde Islands, will be among the major winter travel options for travelers seeking sun and warmth.
