Code-Sharing Partnership Closed Between SAUDIA And Kuwait Airways

News

The two airlines revealed a code-share deal meant to improve connections and services for passengers in both countries.

Carriers will begin to cross-use marketing codes on selected flights after the deal has been finalized and all necessary clearances have been received. In order to better serve their customers, the two airlines have decided to increase their Interline Cooperation in all areas.

Both airlines will gain from the code-share arrangement, as it will strengthen their bilateral and strategic collaboration and enable them to provide their customers with a range of improved services. The new code-share cooperation will enhance and deepen the already strong and mutually beneficial business ties between the two companies.

Code-share flights allow passengers to enjoy perks such as speedy connections, hassle-free luggage transfers, and the ability to book, travel, and arrive at their destination all with the same airline. In addition, passengers may book flights on one airline to access additional destinations operated by the other.

SAUDIA operates four flights every day in the sector between Saudi Arabia and Kuwait. Kuwait Airways also offers service on this route, with six flights per day travelling between the two countries.

Both carriers are planning to implement the Frequent Flyer Program for code-share flights, so that passengers may earn and redeem miles on both airlines. In addition, the airlines are interested in investigating potential new areas of collaboration and growth.

Moreover, SAUDIA's cutting-edge gateway at King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah and other important terminals across the Kingdom are committed to welcome visitors from over a hundred different countries. This is all part of the company's dedication to the Kingdom's National Tourism Strategy. With the 'Wings of Vision 2030,' SAUDIA is reiterating its determination to offering world-class services and opening new routes to attract visitors from all over the globe.

Similarly, Kuwait Airways is focused on delivering world-class service even as it grows its reach and adds new products, services and routes, such as the 14 new summertime stops it will be serving beginning this year.
