Cosmic Pineapple Announces New Residency at Cova Santa with 'Sirius' Theme

Cosmic Pineapple moves to Ibiza’s Cova Santa for a new summer residency, featuring top DJs, wellness activities, and art under the theme 'Sirius.'

Cosmic Pineapple, renowned for its purpose-driven parties, is thrilled to announce a new summer residency at Ibiza’s iconic venue, Cova Santa. Scheduled over seven dates from June to September, this mini-festival promises to set the summer clubbing scene ablaze and draw international visitors with its unique experiences.

Stellar Lineup and Special Editions

The event will feature a dynamic lineup, blending legendary artists with contemporary acts such as Heidi, Carl Craig, Ellen Allien, Osunlade, Josh Wink, Dan Ghenacia, Roman Flügel, and Acid Pauli. Notably, the festival will include a special 25 Years of Robert Johnson edition.

Sirius Theme Illuminates the Festival

Entering its 9th year, Cosmic Pineapple has solidified its reputation as a beacon for quality music and creative expression on the island. The 2024 theme, Sirius, aims to light up the festival by merging hedonism with healing, using music as a catalyst for positive change.

A Unique Blend of Party and Wellness

Cosmic Pineapple goes beyond the typical party scene, offering a blend of wellness and celebration. Attendees can look forward to a creative and conscious experience, dancing from day to night. Wellness areas will feature various healing practices, live music, art installations, and boutique markets. Daytime performances will include artists like Nightmares On Wax, Heidi, Osunlade, and Prins Thomas.

Transition to the Space Rave

As night falls, the event transitions indoors to the famed Space Rave at 10 pm. Here, artists like Carl Craig, Ellen Allien, Cassy, Danny Daze, Josh Wink, and Mathew Jonson will take over, providing an edgy electronic soundtrack.

Exclusive Midnight Concerts

BayBJane will host the events, bringing her unique energy and exclusive access to the cave’s intimate midnight concerts and sound journeys. These events celebrate the historic Cova Santa, nestled in the island's center and built around an ancient cave.

Curator’s Vision

Kim Booth, the curator of Cosmic Pineapple, shared her enthusiasm for the new location: “Moving Cosmic Pineapple to Cova Santa is a perfect match. Our events blend different cultures, tribes, and traditions, creating a special energy.”

Supporting Charitable Causes

Each Cosmic Pineapple event supports a selected charity, with a portion of ticket sales donated to various causes. To date, over 60,000 euros have been raised for global charities focused on war relief, ocean clean-up, mental health, animal welfare, and earth healing. This year’s event will support Brian Eno’s EarthPercent charity, addressing climate and nature crises.

Booth added: “Our DJs are not just performers; they are principled artists. Inspired by Carl Jung’s quote, ‘The meeting of two personalities is like the contact of two chemical substances: if there is any reaction, both are transformed,’ this drives our curation. Our shared stories create a unified narrative through music, embodying our new theme, Sirius.”
