EgyptAir flight MS804 has disappeared

Appointed military units are continuously searching the Mediterranean sea for the missing plane
The aircraft has disappeared from the radar near the Karpathos island in Greece yesterday. The Airbus 320 flying from Paris to Cairo transported 66 passengers and crew members.
Soon after the disappearance, officials from France, Greece, UK and Egypt have sent special units to look for the airplane carrying their nationals.
According to the Greek defence minister Panos Kammenos, the plane “turned 90 degrees left and 360-degree to the right” before loosing more than 20,000 feet altitude and disappearing from the radar screens while flying over the eastern Mediterranean Sea.
In the moment of its disappearance, flight MS804 was ten miles away from the Egyptian airspace and half an hour away from its destination in Cairo.
The missing aircraft was not claimed by any terrorist groups so far, and no wreckage was found nearby the disappearance area. Moreover, no special situation was reported by air traffic controllers or pilots during the flight.
Plane manufacturer Airbus commented over the possibility of technical faults of the jet: “The aircraft involved, registered under SU-GCC was MSN 2088, was delivered to EgyptAir from the production line in November 2003. The aircraft had accumulated approximately 48,000 flight hours.”
The search of the airplane continues, as experts are trying to explain what really happened aboard of the EgyptAir flight.
