Egyptair Places Order for 10 A350-900 Aircraft in Response to Surging Air Travel Demand

Egyptair is set to enhance its fleet with 10 Airbus A350-900s, revealed during the 2023 Dubai Airshow.

The addition of the A350-900s is expected to result in a remarkable 25% reduction in fuel consumption and subsequently decreased emissions. Passengers will be treated to an enhanced travel experience in the Airbus AirSpace cabin, featuring a genuine sense of spaciousness, expansive seating, lofty ceilings, and captivating ambient lighting.

The official signing of the procurement agreement occurred at the Dubai Airshow, attended by Egyptair's Chairman and CEO, Engineer Yehia Zakaria, and Airbus Chief Commercial Officer and Head of International, Christian Scherer.

Christian Scherer, Chief Commercial Officer and Head of Airbus International, underscored the significance of the A350-900 in Egyptair's fleet, emphasizing its role as the airline's flagship aircraft. The introduction of these highly modern and efficient widebody aircraft is expected to play a pivotal role in expanding Egyptair's services, unlocking new opportunities, particularly in Western US and the far East.
