Minor Hotels has named Ammarawadee Cheowit as General Manager of NH Boat Lagoon Phuket Resort, the brand's first in Thailand and Asia. Located in Phuket's Boat Lagoon marina, Cheowit brings over 13 years of experience to the 271-room resort, equipped with extensive amenities and MICE facilities.

Minor Hotels has recently appointed Ammarawadee Cheowit as the General Manager of the NH Boat Lagoon Phuket Resort, marking the debut of the NH Hotel brand in Thailand and Asia. Located in the bustling Boat Lagoon marina on Phuket's east coast, a mere 20 minutes from Phuket Town, the resort features 271 rooms and suites, offering guests a blend of luxury and convenience.

With over 13 years in the hotel management arena, Ammarawadee Cheowit (Amma) has led teams across Thailand's top tourist locales, including Koh Samui, Koh Phangan, Phuket, and Hua Hin. Her tenure as General Manager at OZO Chaweng Samui with ONYX Hospitality has honed her expertise in hotel operations and team leadership.

Amma's academic credentials are impressive, holding a Micro MBA in Marketing from Chulalongkorn University, an MBA in Marketing from Ramkhamhang University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics with a minor in English from Thammasat University. Her role as a part-time lecturer at NIDA University, Bangkok, in the Information Technology Management Faculty, where she teaches Marketing Management, showcases her commitment to education and mentorship.

Before entering the hospitality industry, Amma played significant roles in banking, customer service, and sales and marketing. These experiences have endowed her with a unique skill set that she leveraged in the hospitality sector, mastering social network marketing, e-commerce, revenue management, budgeting, and P&L management. Her innovative approach has been a hallmark of her career.

NH Boat Lagoon Phuket Resort offers an array of amenities, including an all-day dining restaurant, lobby café, swimming pool with bar, gym, tennis court, and a kids’ club.
