New Flights to Popular Destinations Announced by Delta

Reservations are already available to passengers worldwide.
Delta Air Lines is expanding its service to include more flights to popular destinations including The Bahamas, LA, and Florida.
All of the new lines will begin service before the year's end, but tickets may be purchased immediately, according to a recent confirmation by the Atlanta-based airline.
Service to and from Sacramento, San Diego, and Austin has been added to Las Vegas's growing network of destinations. The Austin service will be provided by an Airbus A320-200 aircraft, while the Sacramento and San Diego routes will be serviced by an Embraer E-175 aircraft twice a day each. The first day of operation for all three routes is scheduled for October 9.
On December 16, Delta will begin service between New York's LGA Airport and Nassau, Bahamas, providing a new option for New Yorkers eager to get away during the cold season. The aircraft will leave LGA every weekday at 10:45 a.m. and land in Nassau at 2:00 p.m.
“Less than three hours from New York City, Nassau Paradise Island is so close, yet it feels like it is a world away, and we are thrilled that Delta is adding new flights this winter for those who are looking to escape the cold and experience The Bahamas.
"New York remains Nassau Paradise Island’s biggest source market, and airline partnerships such as this help continue to drive tourism for The Bahamas. We’re excited to expand access to our island and look forward to welcoming new and returning visitors beginning in December in partnership with Delta," recently commented Joy Jibrilu, CEO of Nassau Paradise Island Promotion Board.
Passengers can enjoy great award availability on the freshly introduced New York to Nassau connection, with one-way SkyMiles tickets beginning at 40,000 points. The flight takes 3 hours and 15 minutes.
Direct flights between Austin and Orlando are also on the way, as was recently stated by Delta. Beginning on October 9, the service will be provided on a daily basis with an Airbus A320-200 aircraft. If you're planning a trip to Orlando's amusement parks like Walt Disney World, SeaWorld, or Universal Orlando Resort, you'll have plenty of time to explore the city after you get on the 10:57 a.m. flight that leaves at 7:20 a.m.
Delta also confirmed additional service including a new route from LA to Auckland beginning on October 28.
