Starting March 2017, the Silversea Company will operate luxury expedition cruises to this amazing destination, alternating two new seven-night itineraries approved by the Galapagos National Park Service.
“These new itineraries will continue to highlight the amazing scenery and wildlife of the Galápagos,” said Lisa McAuley, Silversea commercial director UK and Ireland. “For the first time, Silver Galapagos will circumnavigate iconic Kicker Rock and Daphne Major, both spectacular settings for spotting an array of exotic birds. And nature lovers will appreciate the chance to witness beautiful flamingos and sea turtles at Las Bachas Beach, also a new destination.”
100 lucky tourists will enjoy all-suite Silver Galapagos, sailing Saturday to Saturday, with the arrival/departure port located in San Cristobal.
More, Silversea is preparing some complimentary surprises for those who chose the company’s cruises. The tourists will be offered ashore expedition conducted by the best guides, accredited by the Galapagos National Park Service. The main purpose of these expeditions are to create an opportunity for nature lovers to experience a day surrounded by wildlife, including iguanas, giant tortoises, blue- and red-footed boobies, colorful marine iguanas, sea lions, penguins and Darwin’s famous finches.
