Swile Travel Strengthens Its Alliance With Trainline

The company based in France has increased its cooperation with Trainline to provide access to additional European train services for its business travellers.

Swile Travel (previously Okarito) has signed a partnership agreement with Trainline Partner Solutions to expand its local and international train offerings.

SNCF, TER, Lyria, Thalys, and Eurostar are just some of the main operators whose operations will be available to Swile's "all-in-one" corporate travel app users. In the "near future," Swile plans to include content from other worldwide train operators including Trenitalia and Deutsche Bahn.

Brice Huet, co-founder of Swile Travel, recently commented: “In addition to offering more rail content and simplifying train travel planning with Trainline, we strongly believe that this partnership will encourage more business travellers and employees to opt for rail as their preferred way to reduce their carbon footprint."

Trainline Partner Solutions' director of distribution Liz Emmott added that the company was confident that Swile Travel is the future generation of TMC.

Users of Swile's app will get access to Trainline's online after-sales support, which includes the ability to manage reservations, receive refunds, and swap tickets, as train reservations made via Swile Travel have increased dramatically in recent years.

As Swile Travel continues to grow in France, this latest partnership is expected to further strengthen the relationship between the two businesses.
