
Swiss International Air Lines signs Amadeus Altéa Suites

Swiss International Air Lines has announced its long-term arrangement with Amadeus as part of its future strategy. The airline wishes to boots its reservation features along with this move involving Amadeus Altea Suite modules.
Benefiting form Amadeus’ integrated PSS system, Swiss will gain access to a centralized data base of costumers like several other major airlines before them. Among these, you may find names like Austrian Airlines, Lufthansa and Air Dolomiti.
This strategy translates into an awareness move towards enhancing the traveling experience world-wide, linking a number of airlines within the Lufthansa Group, turning a new page in terms of partnerships among different airlines. A high probability of long term collaborations will be felt inside the Star Alliance carriers.
This announced change towards Altea Reservation and Inventory modules will most likely occur during the first part of 2016. The migration to Departure Control is set to occur following the aforementioned date.
