Air Baltic Connects Tampere to Sunny Mallorca
Air Baltic has expanded its flight offerings from Tampere Airport by launching a direct service to Palma de Mallorca, starting from 29 April 2024. This new summer season route will facilitate travel between Finland and one of the most sought-after holiday destinations in Europe.
The service to the vibrant island of Mallorca will operate twice a week, on Mondays and Fridays, continuing through to 11 October 2024. Air Baltic has chosen the efficient and comfortable Airbus A220-300 aircraft to serve this route, ensuring a pleasant travel experience for passengers.
Petri Vuori, Finavia's Senior Vice President of Sales & Route Development, expressed enthusiasm about the new connection: “Air Baltic's expansion from Tampere to Mallorca is a significant enhancement to our summer route offerings. The airline currently connects Finland to six European destinations from Tampere, in addition to multiple flights from Helsinki and Turku to their main hub in Riga.”
In total, Finavia airports, including Tampere, now offer travelers over 140 international routes. The new Mallorca route complements Air Baltic's existing services from Tampere to Copenhagen, Málaga, Riga, Rhodes, and Tallinn, broadening the travel options available to Finnish passengers and visitors alike.
For those interested in exploring the beautiful beaches and cultural heritage of Mallorca, or seeking convenient connections to other European cities, this new route provides an exciting opportunity. Travelers can view the full schedule and book their flights directly through Air Baltic’s website.
