The Greek Market Becomes a Focus for Perillo

Business Travel

Steve Perillo revealed that the company extended to Greece in 2023 after being known mostly for its itineraries around Italy.

However, Italy will continue to serve as the company's base of operations, with the addition of three additional escorted trips there in 2024.

According to Perillo, 2023 is the company's finest year ever, with programs in Italy, Greece, and Spain selling out completely. He said that the operator's response to the pandemic issue, in which it offered reimbursements to all impacted consumers, contributed to the company's performance by releasing pent-up demand. Tours are selling even more quickly this year than they did at the same time in 2022, and meeting demand is mostly a matter of keeping up supply, Perillo added.

At the same time, an 11-day "Deluxe Greece" trip including Athens, Mykonos, and Santorini debuted for the Greece program. It featured walking trips, a catamaran cruise, excursions to historic sites, a market, a vineyard, a medieval town, and more, as well as enough free time for the passengers.

According to Perillo, the company will launch a second "Classical Greece"-branded itinerary in 2024. Delphi and Olympia are on the itinerary, as is a three-day trip in the Aegean Sea. And there are good news for Italy also. In all, 10 different routes around Italy will be provided by Perillo in 2024.

The organization is gradually expanding its programs to other locations, such as Spain and Hawaii, in addition to Italy and Greece. According to Perillo, the company's expansion into a more affluent market and the addition of more flexible small-group choices are reflected in these initiatives. He did note, however, that despite increased expenditures, the operator has maintained reasonably priced services.

The company's true personal touch to customers is what consistently sets it apart and what continues to do so despite the business's regional growth. Although there has been considerable discussion about how people's perspectives on group travel are changing, Perillo is certain that the need for classic guided trips will never go away. Older tourists, he added, increasingly dislike having to haul around heavy suitcases and plan out their trips, as he emphasized the significance of the company flawlessly planning the trips.

Hotels, guided tours, transfers, luggage handling, breakfast everyday, certain planned meals, gratuities, taxes, free time to explore on your own, and free Wi-Fi on all Perillo motor-coaches are all part of every program.

Three additional tours ranging from nine to twelve days will be added to Perillo's extensive Italy options in 2024. These trips will focus on diverse areas, exhibit art, history, gastronomy, and culture, and include visits to more remote towns and villages.

The "Green Heart of Italy" journey lasts for 11 days and takes you all over Italy, from Rome to the Tuscan countryside and everything in between. There will be winery and olive oil mill excursions, a truffle hunting adventure, and a hands-on culinary demonstration.

The "Renaissance Tour 2024" will take place over the course of nine days, and will take travellers to Rome, Florence, the Chianti hills and ancient villages for wine and olive oil tastings, truffle hunts, and more.

The itinerary for this 12 day "Best of Southern Italy" trip includes stops in Rome, Naples, Pompeii, Matera (a UNESCO World Heritage site), Bari, Lecce, and Alberobello, as well as opportunities to make pasta and sample focaccia.
