These Are the 10 Best Airports in the World in 2018

Airports and airplanes are highly important for the travel industry, as they are gateways to new worlds and possibilities. But which are the top airports in the world this year?
We’ve looked and studied all major airports in the world to find the ones that are worth traveling to most; what we found is truly amazing and made us pack our bags sooner than planned.
For the sixth time, Singapore’s Changi Airport has won the title of the world’s best airport. But how do they do it? Well, their success shows how much time, money and effort Singapore has invested in making itself a gateway to the rest of Asia. The award was offered after millions of passengers responded to surveys, by the Skytrax World Airport Awards, known in the travel industry as “the Oscars of the aviation industry.”
However, Singapore is not the only one offering a tremendous flight experience: both Seoul Incheon (#2) and Hong Kong (#4) offer a similar experience. Even so, neither one of them beats Singapore when it comes to the mix of airport experience and impressive amenities.
Changi served 62.2 million passengers in 2017 and after a simple calculation, we see that it has accommodated a landing/takeoff every 85 seconds, 24 hours a day in the last year alone.
"To be voted the World's Best Airport for the sixth consecutive year is a fabulous achievement for Changi Airport, and this award yet again demonstrates the airport's popularity with international air travelers," said Edward Plaisted, CEO of Skytrax.
The airport features more than two dozen lounges, two 24-hour free movie theaters, a rooftop swimming pool and a sunflower garden.
In other words, simply landing here can be a holiday.
Heading back to the list of the world’s top ten airports, here they are:
