Train Service Changes at Rome's Fiumicino Airport: November 28 – December 1, 2024

From Thursday, November 28 to Sunday, December 1, 2024, scheduled maintenance will take place between Roma Tuscolana and Fiumicino Aeroporto, causing modifications to various Trenitalia services.

Affected Routes and Modifications

Due to the maintenance work, multiple regional and Intercity trains will experience cancellations, stop alterations, and schedule changes. A bus replacement service will operate between the following stations:

• Roma Termini – Fiumicino Aeroporto
• Roma Tiburtina – Fiumicino Aeroporto
• Roma Ostiense – Fiumicino Aeroporto
• Roma Termini – Civitavecchia
• Fiumicino Aeroporto – Poggio Mirteto

Additionally, for trains on the Orte – Roma – Fiumicino route, passengers will be able to use a metro replacement service between Roma Tiburtina and Roma Ostiense stations on November 30 and December 1. Metro Line B access will be available with Trenitalia tickets at the Roma Tiburtina (Tiburtina FS) and Roma Ostiense (Piramide) stations.

Impact on Intercity and Frecciabianca Services

• Intercity services: Routes such as Sestri Levante – Napoli, Ventimiglia – Roma Termini, Salerno – Torino, and Reggio Calabria – Torino will experience schedule changes and stop modifications.
• Frecciabianca and Frecciarossa services: Routes like Genova Piazza Principe – Roma Termini, Milano Centrale – Roma Termini, Napoli – Fiumicino Aeroporto, Firenze – Fiumicino Aeroporto, and Venezia – Fiumicino Aeroporto will face cancellations and changes in schedules and stops.

• Magliana: ATAC stop on Via della Magliana
• Murarella: ATAC stop at Magliana/Muratella on Via della Magliana
• Ponte Galeria: ATAC/COTRAL stop at Portuense/Ponte Galeria
• Fiera di Roma: ATAC stop on Viale A.G. Eiffel
