The US magazine Bon Appetit named Miami the Food City of the Year for 2023.

The city's Miami Spice restaurant deal is back from 1 August until 30 September.

Tourists can enjoy a variety of food and beverages at some of the most popular restaurants in the city for a fraction the price. You can enjoy 3-course meals for EUR25 or 3-course dinners at EUR45 or EUR55.

In 2022, 266 restaurants took part in the event. This year's official list of participating restaurant will be released in July.

Fort Lauderdale celebrates 101 Days of Summer

The Tourist Board for Fort Lauderdale, Florida, has launched a new campaign called '101 Days of Summer' to help you plan your summer holiday.

Fort Lauderdale is located on Florida's Atlantic Coast and has 24 miles of beaches (38.6km) as well as 300 miles of waterways (482.8km). The area is a great place to enjoy outdoor activities, whether you're interested in scuba diving or riding horses.

Visitors are invited as part of this promotion to explore the 1,000 Mermaids Artificial Reef. This is a massive public EcoArt project that was created off the coast Hollywood Beach and will open in 2018. Divers with experience can access this ocean-friendly artwork.

You can enjoy a concert and bioluminescent paddling

Summer events on the famous Florida coast attract visitors.

The weekly bioluminescence tours at Guana Lake are hosted by SciFridays until the end September. These tours are unique in that they allow visitors to paddle through the waves and activate the glow from marine microorganisms.

The St. Augustine Amphitheatre, located on Anastasia Island, and the Ponte Vedra Concert Hall host ticketed concerts featuring artists like Jason Mraz and Counting Crows.

The Cathedral Basilica of St. Augustine is also hosting free summer concerts during the St. Augustine Music Festival from late June to early July.
