Wizz Air Launches New Routes from Poland to London Gatwick and Sofia

Wizz Air is expanding its operations in Poland with the launch of two exciting new routes in summer 2025. Starting on August 2, 2025, passengers will be able to travel daily from Warsaw Chopin Airport to London Gatwick, while a new Krakow to Sofia connection will begin on June 16, 2025. These additions further strengthen Wizz Air’s position in the Polish market, offering affordable and convenient travel options for passengers heading to two key European destinations.

New Warsaw to London Gatwick Route

The Warsaw to London Gatwick route will operate daily, with fares starting from 179 PLN. London, renowned for its iconic landmarks, vibrant cultural scene, and status as a global financial hub, continues to be a top destination for travelers. This new connection offers passengers an easy and affordable option to travel between Poland and the UK.

Krakow to Sofia: A Gateway to Bulgaria

Wizz Air is also introducing a new route from Krakow to Sofia, with flights available three times a week on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Tickets for this route will start from 109 PLN, providing passengers with more travel opportunities to visit the Balkan region. Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria, is known for its rich history, stunning architecture, and vibrant mix of ancient and modern culture.

Continued Expansion in Poland

These two new routes are part of Wizz Air’s continued growth in Poland, where the airline is increasing its overall capacity, offering more than 1 million additional seats across the country in 2025.
