Rosewood Miramar Beach Montecito Set to Open in 2018  

Rosewood Hotels & Resorts has been nominated by Caruso Affiliated, one of the largest, privately held real estate development companies in the United States, to manage Rosewood Miramar Beach Montecito and see through the operations until it opens in 2018. This will be Rosewood's third property in California.

Montecito is roughly 80 miles northwest of Los Angeles, in the county of Santa Barbara, and represents of the most visited and exclusive areas in the country.

The region is famous for its pleasant year-round climate, stunning landscape and spectacular residential architecture.

The resort will be placed on the site of the former Miramar Beach Hotel, a significant landmark in the region, and it plans to become a world-class destination for international and local visitors.

Rosewood Miramar Beach Montecito will spread over nearly 16 acres of prime beachfront real estate and offer 122 guestrooms and 48 suites, many of which will be placed in bungalows and single-story cottages.

Amenities will include two swimming pools, an oceanside bar, a signature restaurant, a restaurant with an outdoor terrace, a state-of-the-art fitness center, Sense spa, beach club and screening room.

Additionally, the resort will include a 6,000-square-foot ballroom and offer a total of 12,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor event space.
