Guy Hutchinson Rejoins Hilton as President of Middle East and Africa

Guy Hutchinson is set to assume the position of President for Hilton in the Middle East and Africa.

In this capacity, he will oversee 285 hotels across the region that are either currently operational or in various stages of development. Additionally, he will be responsible for managing a workforce of more than 29,000 individuals. Hutchinson is scheduled to begin his new role at the beginning of the upcoming year. This appointment marks Hutchinson's reentry into Hilton after a ten-year hiatus. He previously held the position of Vice President of Operations for Hilton in India. Over the past decade, Hutchinson has been affiliated with Rotana, where he served as the company's President and CEO since 2020.

Apart from his nine-year tenure at Rotana, the entirety of his professional journey unfolded within the Hilton organization. He also briefly held the position of Regional General Manager for China North for one year.

Hutchinson's selection as the new president comes in the wake of the unfortunate passing of Jochem-Jan Sleiffer in April 2023. Homages to the revered figure in the hospitality industry can be accessed here.

Guy Hutchinson will be headquartered at Hilton's Regional Office in Dubai and will report directly to Simon Vincent CBE, Executive Vice President & President, Europe, and Middle East & Africa at Hilton.
