SS Joie de Vivre will cruise on the Seine starting 2017

Cruise News

The ship belonging to Uniworld Boutique River Cruise Collection will begin cruising on the legendary Seine River in France

Everything on the majestic ship, from design to food, wine, art and music was created to reflect “la joie de vivre” French philosophy.

The Red Carnation Hotels designers conceived an unique atmosphere on the SS Joie de Vivre, by using classic French accents on the handcrafted furniture, fabrics and antiques used for decoration.

The amazing boat has a 128 guests capacity and features signature-style suites served by Buckingham Palace standard trained butlers.

Guy Young, president of Uniworld, commented:

“Uniworld was one of the very first river cruise companies to sail the rivers of France, and our parent company, The Travel Corporation, has been bringing travellers from all over the world to this amazing country for over 70 years as this has been one of our most popular destinations, so our commitment to France is unwavering.”

The SS Joie de Vivre will be launched for service in Northern France in March 2017.
