Take an Art Escape with Maria Zheleznova

News

Maria Zhelezniva is an extensively trained artist and fashion designer who has opted to use her skill in a different way. She is helping Dubai residents relax and unwind. Maria provides an art escape where attendees learn how to paint in a very relaxed setting, in a place of their choice, like coffee shop, beach or park. And, attendees are encouraged to get in touch with how the process makes them feel.

We're now into February, the month of love, and work has gotten busy leaving us little time to plan to another getaway. The pressure is mounting on and you’re wondering how to unwind. How about taking an art escape?

Twice a week, UAE based Maria Zheleznova brings together a small group of a few friends and first-time painters for a coffee and painting session where they get to immerse themselves in the relaxing world of watercolor paintings. This helps them unwind, relax and at the same time learn a new skill.

“Everyone can paint; they just don’t know it yet” is Maria’s Mantra.

Maria’s medium of choice is watercolors and her favorite style is fashion illustrations, although in her session she offers a choice of paintings for attendees to choose which one they want to paint for the class.

“Watercolors offer more room for improvisation. They are bright and unpredictable making them the perfect medium to transmit emotions. When we paint we allow the colors to lead us and sometimes the final product surprises us all,” she adds.

This has been the resounding feedback from those who have attended Maria’s sessions with the first time painters being pleasantly surprised at how well they did.
