The Art Hotel launches in Nigeria

The guest of honour of the launch evening ceremony was the Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed. The Minister appreciated the hotel’s efforts to display and promote Nigerian in extensive gallery aiming to highlight the astonishing Nigerian culture.

 

“The Art Hotel brand is a new offering associated with art, style, culture, sophistication, and contemporary creativity that promises quality service and genuine guest experiences to deliver customer satisfaction in a distinctive environment.

“This project had been strategically crafted to showcase our unique art, innovativeness, and creative works”, Minister Mohammed commented during the event.

Other guests attending the Grand Launch of The Art Hotel featured several country dignitaries, as well as notable industry players: Governor of Lagos State Deputy Governor Dr. Kadri Obafemi Hamzat; Royal Father of the day, Oba of Oniru, HRM Oba Gbolahan Lawal; HM Oba Abdulwasiu Omogbolahan; Lawal, HM Oba Saheed Elegushi; Chairman of MTN Nigeria, Dr. Ernest C. Ndukwe OFR; Head of Service Lagos State, Mr. Hakeem Muri-Okunola; Director General of the National Institute of Hospitality, Alhaji Nura Kangiwa; Madam Nike Art Gallery; Head Pastor City of David Church, Pastor Idowu lluyomade and Director General of the Nigerian Tourism Development Corporation, Mr. Foli Coker.

During the opening festivities, Tunji Abdul, the hotel’s CEO was awarded with the Dedication and Service to the Nigerian Tourism Sector title by Mr. Coker. According to Abdul, The Art Hotel is committed to promote high-end quality service, support arts and culture across the hospitality sector in Lagos, while meeting the needs of the local and foreign business community, art lovers, as well as leisure travellers.
