The Red Sea Project in Saudi Arabia welcomes Ritz-Carlton Reserve

News

The Ritz-Carlton Reserve will debut on the west coast of Saudi Arabia in 2023, with Nujuma, the property offering exclusive leisure retreats on the shores of the Red Sea.

“We are thrilled to bring our most luxurious brand, Ritz-Carlton Reserve, and its exemplary experience to the Middle East. Perfectly situated on one of the most anticipated regenerative tourism projects in the world, the resort will blend seclusion and sophistication to provide a highly personalized luxury escape,” commented Jerome Briet, CDO for Europe, Middle East & Africa at Marriott International.

Nujuma will be one of the Red Sea’s Blue Hole islands, designed to fully match the natural beauty of the surrounding landscape.

Featuring 63 villas, the resort will also pamper its guests with exclusive services, a luxurious spa, several swimming pools, restaurants, brand shops, entertainment amenities, as well as a Conservation Centre.

Nujuma will join the other 5 Ritz-Carlton Reserve one of a kind properties in Thailand, Japan, Indonesia, Puerto Rico, and Mexico.

John Pagano, CEO at The Red Sea Development Company, added:

“I am excited to welcome Ritz-Carlton Reserve into the fold of our luxury collection of brands for The Red Sea.

“Around the world, Ritz-Carlton Reserve properties are synonymous with providing unique luxury experiences and creating personalized meaningful escapes, underpinned by a commitment to sustainable practices.

“As we inch closer to opening our first resorts early next year, this world-class brand is sure to excite and entice future guests.”

The facility will include over 90 natural islands, in an environment dominated by dormant volcanoes, mountains and impressive desert dunes, while featuring an astonishing collection of 1.600 cultural heritage sites for its guests to enjoy.

The Red Sea Project is a 28.000 square kilometres tourism project in Saudi Arabia, aiming to satisfy luxury travel customers’ expectations while promoting high sustainability standards.
