The 23rd edition of the event will take place between November 6th and November 17th, as officials aim to implement the Paris Agreement.

The 23rd Conference of Parties (COP 23) on implications climate change has on different aspects will be presided by Fiji and will be hosted by Germany.

The gathering of the governments will focus on the implementation of the regulations adopted by the Paris Agreement signed in France in 2015.

Transparency of the programs, adaptation, emission reductions, financial investments, technology and the development of accurate climate models are also on the list of the discussions.

The goal of the meeting is to complete implementation guidelines until COP 24 in Poland in 2018 and accelerate the advances of the sector, as experts are highly concerned that summer temperatures by the end of this century will have unprecedented impact on wildlife habitats and human food resources.

This translates into taking responsibility for the climate change global consequences, as this reality requires a fast response from our society. Keeping a global temperature rise below 2 degrees Celsius is considered to be the key aspect of making a difference for our planet.
