Wizz Air has announced that starting from January 15, 2025, three of its Bucharest routes will be relocated from Bucharest Henri Coanda International Airport to Bucharest Băneasa - Aurel Vlaicu International Airport. This strategic decision is aimed at providing more travel options and improving the overall passenger experience for those flying to and from Bucharest.
Affected Routes and Important Dates
The following routes will be moved to Bucharest Băneasa Airport:
- Krakow - Bucharest: Operating on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from January 15, 2025.
- Naples - Bucharest: Operating daily from January 15, 2025.
- Abu Dhabi - Bucharest: Operating on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday from March 30, 2025.
