2023 Spa and Wellness Elite Recognized at the World Spa Awards

World Spa Awards, the global initiative dedicated to commending and recognizing excellence within the spa and wellness sector, has unveiled the long-awaited victors of its 2023 program.

Among the notable victors is Bürgenstock Alpine Spa in Switzerland, securing the coveted title of 'Global Champion of Hotel Spas,' while the renowned Palazzo Fiuggi in Italy has been hailed as the 'World's Preeminent Wellness Retreat.'

Mandarin Oriental, for the second consecutive year, has claimed the esteemed designation of 'World's Supreme Hotel Spa Brand.' Meanwhile, Aromatherapy Associates has solidified its dominance by maintaining its standing as the 'Global Superiority in Aromatherapy Brand.' L’Occitane, the distinguished French luxury brand, debuted in the 2023 World Spa Awards with a resounding victory as the 'World's Foremost Spa Brand.'

This proclamation concludes a year-long quest to identify the preeminent spa and wellness brands globally, with votes emanating from industry experts, the media, and the general populace.

In the categories dedicated to newcomers, Awaken Spa, situated at the striking Atlantis The Royal resort in Dubai, has clinched the accolade for the 'Ultimate New Resort Spa Worldwide.' Clinique La Prairie Longevity Hub, nestled in Qatar's The St. Regis Marsa Arabia Island, The Pearl, has been honored as the 'World's Outstanding New Hotel Spa.' Lanserhof Sylt in Germany, ensconced on a secluded island within the Wadden Sea, has triumphed in two categories: 'Premier New Wellness Retreat Globally' and 'Global Excellence in Spa Design.'

Mexico's Spa at Las Ventanas al Paraíso, A Rosewood Resort, has garnered the title of 'World's Finest Spa Signature Treatment' for its Holistic Twilight Ceremony.

On the destination front, Dubai, boasting a diverse spectrum of both traditional and avant-garde treatments, has been acclaimed as the 'Globally Unsurpassed Spa Destination,' while Bali has been hailed as the 'World's Paramount Wellness Destination.'

The regional destination distinctions encompass Morocco for 'Best Spa Destination in Africa,' Mexico for 'Supreme Spa Destination in Latin America,' and Australia as 'Oceania's Premier Spa Destination.'
