A New Design Icon Just Revealed In The United Arab Emirates

News

The upcoming billion dollar Wynn Resorts Limited property in Ras Al Khaimah will be called Wynn Al Marjan Island.

The serene seascape of Al Marjan Island, a collection of four smaller islands, was the inspiration for the company's first beach-front resort, as its design concept was recently exhibited. Marjan LLC and RAK Hospitality Holding LLC, both local companies, are working together to build the exclusive holiday destination.

Wynn Al Marjan Island, perched at a lofty height of more than 1,000 feet above sea level and offering breathtaking views of the Arabian Gulf, is a premier destination for those seeking a luxurious vacation, as the resort is home to first-rate gaming and entertainment venues.

The first project by the company in the United States to be located in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) area will be a state-of-the-art, five-star hotel that draws its design cues from the surrounding seascape and reflects the resort's laid-back, tropical vibe inside.

The unmistakable outline of Wynn Al Marjan Island, expected to cost over USD 3.9 billion, would alter and accelerate the Emirate's emergence as a major worldwide tourist destination, providing immense worth for its economy via tourism as well as employment. The initiative will open the door for quick expansion in related industries. Earlier this year, workers arrived on site to begin laying the foundation.

About 1,500 rooms, suites, and villas will feature the brand's characteristic, high-design grandeur. The resort has a casino, twenty-four restaurants and lounges, an upscale spa and wellness centre, a luxury retail esplanade, an events centre, a theatre with a one-of-a-kind theatrical show, and much more for its guests. The resort will have many and varied activities, making it ideal for both extended stays and day excursions from neighbouring Emirates.

Wynn Al Marjan Island's architecture is influenced by both the local environment and Wynn Resorts' own style. The platform building, reminiscent of a magnificent opera theatre, mirrors the island's curving shoreline in geometry, allowing for breathtaking panoramas of the ocean and sky. Every table at Wynn Al Marjan Island's several restaurants along the beach-front promenade has a spectacular view of the ocean.

Craig Billings, CEO of Wynn Resorts, recently commented:

“I am incredibly proud of our design and development team’s ability to impart our legacy of rich, thoughtful design into a sun-soaked beachside resort that will delight customers, new and old. We look forward to opening Wynn Al Marjan Island in early 2027.”

Ras Al Khaimah is quickly becoming a top choice for investors seeking to build luxury hotels. With over 7.8 kilometres of pristine beaches and 23 kilometres of waterfront, Al Marjan Island is rapidly becoming a first-rate vacation spot thanks to its abundance of high-end lodging and residential projects.

Ras Al Khaimah is also one of the MENA region's quickest-growing tourist sectors because of its emphasis on ecotourism and rich archaeological legacy.
