ADRIFT Anda opens at Le Royal Meridien Doha
The new Italian restaurant owned by Michelin star Chef David Myers has launched at Le Royal Méridien Doha, in Lusail.
The restaurant, inspired by Italy’s most famous culinary traditions, was created and developed by David Myers, the internationally acclaimed Chef with a passion for travel.
The latest Adrift Anda addition joins the other unique properties owned by Myers across Asia, the United States and the Middle East and follows the recent opening of ADRIFT Burger Bar in LA and ADRIFT Kaya in New Delhi.
During his career, Chef David Myers has won awards from Food & Wine, Michelin and James Beard Foundation, and participated in countless TV shows such as Hell’s Kitchen, Top Chef and Master Chef.
With the occasion of the most recent launch, Chef David Myers commented:
“I’m incredibly excited to open ADRIFT Anda at Le Royal Meridien in Doha!
“ADRIFT Anda, like all my other restaurants, is a concept that is inspired by the memories, encounters and experiences I’ve had on my travels around the world. In this particular case, after journeying from Tuscany, through Rome, down to Naples, I found myself drafting the core menu for ADRIFT Anda on a napkin inspired by the very best of a Roman trattoria, Neapolitan pizzeria and a Florentine steakhouse.
“A key element of the concept was capturing that laid back, warm and welcoming atmosphere I’d come across on my journey, and infuse it into the design, menu, music and lighting of the restaurant. I want to showcase my interpretation of honest Italian food, but still with that ADRIFT edge that makes the restaurant truly unique.”
By combining Roman, Florentine and Neapolitan influences in its uniquely flavoured dishes, ADRIFT Anda promotes the Italian hospitality and traditions, while accompanied by an exclusive bar and lounge featuring the delicious cocktails of Jimmy Barrat as well as a drinks selection curated by famous phytotherapist Michael Isted.

ADRIFT Anda has opened for guests starting 16th June, as the restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor exclusive dining options.
