Airbus’s 1st Condor A330neo Flight Happens in 2 Weeks

News

Condor’s first revenue generating A330neo flight will take place on December 18th, from Frankfurt to Mauritius.

According to the most recent Cirium schedules information, Condor's first revenue-generating A330neo flight will be on December 18th, from Frankfurt to Mauritius. This announcement comes as the airline's A330-900 prepares for delivery. The A330neos will be deployed to five destinations by the German leisure airline, with an additional 15 in the future. The latest information as of December 2nd.

The first revenue flight

Although it is possible that the date may change, the first commercial departure will be made on Sunday, December 18, just in time for Christmas. It will replace the ex-Etihad 330-200s that replaced the aging 767 300ERs on this route in October.

DE2314 will leave Frankfurt at 16.10, and reach Mauritius at 06:40. It is 5,703 miles (9.177km) from the island. DE2315 will depart the island at 08.30 and return home at 17:35.

Winter A330neo routes

Frankfurt-Punta Cana's total winter A330neo sector count is higher than other cities, despite starting later than others. The maximum weekly frequency in winter is referred to as 'up to'. This does not mean that flights are always at this level.

Condor will offer up to three daily A330neo departures from Frankfurt and routes starting in January. For example, outbound flights will be available at 10:45 (Varadero), 16:10 (Mauritius) on February 10. As the northern summer nears, A330neo deliveries from it will increase and accelerate.

What about summer?

The all-important northern winter begins on Sunday, March 26th and will see significant changes. Condor's A330neo route network increases to 15, with an unmistakable emphasis on North America. Frequency can change significantly depending on the month, just as in winter.

Daily departures up to 9

Although departures from Frankfurt will peak around 9, it is only four times per month, and all of them in September. On September 7th, for example, there are expected to be A330neo flights leaving Germany at 09:30 (Las Vegas), 11:15 (Los Angeles), 11:45 (JFK), 14:05 (Vancouver), 14:05 (Seattle), 15:10 (San Francisco), 16:00 (Cancun), 16:15 (Punta Cana), and 21:50 (Frankfurt-Mombasa-Zanzibar).
