British Airways - the official carrier for 2016 Olympics GB participants
British Airways will be the partner airline for Team Great Britain and ParalympicsGB at the Rio 2016 Olympic and Paralympic Games
To show their support for the national teams in Great Britain, British Airways was appointed to be the official airline to fly this summer's Olympic and Paralympic Games participants back to London after the end of Rio 2016 Olympics.
The partnership between British Airways and the national team was announced during an event that took place at the Heathrow airport in London.
The 2016 Olympic in Rio will be held between August 5th-21, while the Paralympic Games will take place during September 7th-18th.
Underlining the tradition of supporting national sports teams over important competitions, Troy Warfield, director of customer experience at British Airways, declared:
“We’re thrilled to once again be the official airline of Team GB and ParalympicsGB.
“It’s an honour to fly the nation’s heroes and their precious medal haul home - it’s always such a monumental and proud occasion to be part of.”
