Giant Hands Hold the Golden Bridge in Vietnam

Those who visit Da Nang, Vietnam, can now walk on a stunning bridge held by two giant hands, a memorable view like nowhere else in the world.
Ba Na hills, close to Da Nang in central Vietnam is now the proud owner of a golden bridge help by two enormous stone-designed hands. It is part of a series of weird yet marvelous constructions in the world. Cau Vang (translating to “gold bridge”) opened in June and is 150 meters long and 1,400 meters above sea level.
The construction took over a year to reach the final result and the initial designs were provided by TA Landscape Architecture.
This mountain retreat used to be a favorite holiday destination for the ruling French authorities back in the early 20th century. However, it fell into ruin after the revolution that took place in 1945. Now, it is home to a replica French village and gardens, with a 5.8km cable car track, which used to be the world’s longest and highest. There is also a cavernous concrete amusement complex, hidden right beneath the kitsch-looking village.
Pieces of the old, original villas have also been spotted by travelers riding the cable car.
