Jamaica and Saint Lucia Will Have New Sandals Resorts Accommodations

News

Sandals Resorts International announced two new expansions to its flagship resort in Negril (Jamaica) and Castries, Saint Lucia

Beaches Negril added 12 spacious butler suites to their Jamaica property, bringing the total number of rooms to 197.

Six new Firesky Reserve Villas are part of Negril's latest additions. They are located at the resort's northern end. These villas measure 3,700 square feet and have four bedrooms. There are three floors that include living areas, kitchens, oceanfront plunge pools, and rooftop decks with dining terraces. Firesky villas are ideal for large families and groups. They can hold up to 10 people.

The resort's Eventide Penthouse Collection is located at the other end of the coast and offers six suites that can sleep up to 18. It has three or four bedrooms, spacious kitchens, large balconies, and walkout terraces.

Additionally, Beaches Negril's Pirate's Island Waterpark, in partnership with Sesame Workshop will be home to the resort's Camp Sesame, which will debut summer of 2023.

Saint Lucia's Sandals Halcyon Beach now offers a mix of 20 Joli Beachfront Suites with walkout access to the beach, private pools, second-story accommodations, and tranquility soaking bathtubs. The suites in the open air are decorated with natural woods, soft island floral touches, and blue hues.

The resort's lush landscaping has five new Koko Rondoval Villas, which are just steps away from the beach. The resort's first-ever rounded walls and thatched roofs were created. This unique design creates the illusion that the villa is extended onto a private patio with a plunge pool. With the expansion, there are now 194 resort rooms and suites.

"Our guest experience is the driving force behind everything we do, and these suites are emblematic, as we push ourselves to reimagine all aspects of the business," stated Adam Stewart, Executive Chairman, of Sandals Resorts International. "We wanted to move beyond traditional luxury, and these suites are stunning; it's all about design and amenities that make interacting with one another more enjoyable and more satisfying.

The resort group announced that Sandals Dunn's River, along with other openings in Jamaica, Turks & Caicos, and Curacao will open in May 2023.

The new suite concepts at Sandals Halcyon and Beaches Negril are available for reservation starting April 6, 2023.
