Jet2.com Expands Summer 2025 Services at Leeds Bradford Airport with 40,000 Extra Seats

Jet2.com and Jet2holidays have revealed a significant expansion of their operations at Leeds Bradford Airport for Summer 2025. This includes new routes, extra flights, and the addition of a 15th based aircraft at the airport. The move is designed to meet the growing demand for flights and holidays, providing even more options for customers in Yorkshire.

New Routes and Extra Services

As part of the Summer 2025 expansion, Jet2.com and Jet2holidays will add extra flights to several popular European destinations. These include:

  • Majorca (Palma): Extra Tuesday flights added from July 1 to September 23, 2025, bringing the total number of weekly services to four during peak times.
  • Reus: New Thursday services from July 3 to October 30, 2025, providing four weekly flights to this beloved destination.
  • Faro (Algarve): Additional Saturday flights from July 5 to October 25, 2025, for a total of three daily services on Saturdays.
  • Kefalonia: New Wednesday flights from July 2 to September 24, 2025, offering four weekly services to this Greek island.
  • Zante: Extra Monday flights from July 7 to September 22, 2025, increasing the total number of weekly flights to four.
  • Bourgas (Bulgaria): Additional Friday flights from July 4 to September 19, 2025, providing three weekly services.
  • Rome: Extended season with extra Monday and Friday flights from July 18 to September 1, 2025.
  • Verona: New Sunday services from July 6 to September 28, 2025, offering weekend flights to this Italian city.

Increased Flexibility with Additional Aircraft

In response to the growing demand, Jet2.com is investing in its Leeds operation by adding a 15th based aircraft for Summer 2025. This expanded fleet will allow the airline to offer over 40,000 additional seats, increasing the total number of available seats from Leeds Bradford Airport to more than 1.9 million for the summer season. This represents Jet2's biggest ever Summer Sun programme from the airport.
