KLM Enhances World Business Class Experience with Pre-Order Meal Service

KLM now allows World Business Class passengers to pre-order their main course up to 45 days before departure, available on 80% of intercontinental flights from Amsterdam.
KLM is elevating the travel experience for its World Business Class passengers with a new pre-order meal service, enabling travelers to select their main course up to 45 days prior to departure. This innovative service is designed to enhance customer satisfaction by offering a more personalized in-flight dining experience. Passengers can make their meal selections during the booking process on the KLM website, through the KLM app, or after booking via MyTrip.
Currently, the service covers 80% of KLM's intercontinental destinations departing from Amsterdam, including routes to Asia, Africa, North America, South America, and the Caribbean. This wide availability ensures that a significant portion of KLM's World Business Class passengers can enjoy the benefits of this service.
The introduction of meal pre-ordering follows a successful testing phase last summer, which saw over 10,000 Business Class passengers take advantage of the option to select their meals in advance. Encouraged by the positive feedback and high participation rate, KLM has decided to expand the service, reaffirming its commitment to providing passengers with an exceptional travel experience.
This move by KLM not only caters to the growing demand for personalized travel experiences but also streamlines in-flight service, ensuring that passengers' dietary preferences and needs are met with precision. It represents a significant step forward in KLM's ongoing efforts to innovate and enhance its service offerings, particularly in the highly competitive premium travel segment.
