Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group Opens New Resort in Oman
The developer and owner of the group, Eagle Hills Muscat, is a private real estate investment and development company and is more than excited to have the opportunity to open a new location.
Mandarin Oriental, Muscat, will feature no less than 150 guestrooms and suites, 5 restaurants and bars, as well as a magnificent Spa and outdoor swimming pool so that guests can relax in a lovely setting.
Moreover, there will also be 155 Residences at Mandarin Oriental available, featuring very select private apartments ranging from 75 to 260 square metres.
Here’s the great news: the property will be located right on the beach, in a prime city location, while the architectural design will take advantage of the views that the Arabian sea has to offer.
Muscat is an entrancing destination with character, charm and an abundance of visitor attractions.
“We are delighted to have the opportunity to expand our brand presence on the Arabian Peninsula with this exciting project in partnership with Eagle Hills,” said James Riley, group chief executive of Mandarin Oriental.
“We look forward to bringing Mandarin Oriental’s legendary service standards to Muscat,” he added.
The capital of Oman, Muscat, is known worldwide for its effort to preserve the natural environment, customs and traditions, while also offering the comfort that tourists need.
The hotel will be only a 20-minute drive from the airport and will be close to the Royal Opera House, the Grand Mosque and Muttrah, which is the city’s traditional souk.
Eagle Hills focuses on designing and implementing facilities that draw on the latest technologies in order to build smart and spectacular projects, adding value to the local economy. The company is developing projects in Bahrain, Jordan, Morocco, Oman, Serbia, and UAE.
