Marriott's Luxury Collection to Include New Resort in Turks & Caicos
Opening in 2025, Salterra in Turks & Caicos joins Marriott's Luxury Collection with 100 rooms, eco-friendly initiatives, diverse dining, and a full-service spa.
Salterra, set to debut in early 2025 on South Caicos Island, marks an exciting addition to Marriott International's Luxury Collection. This resort, emerging from the transformation of the former East Bay Resort, is poised to offer an unparalleled luxury experience in Turks & Caicos.
With a total of 100 guest rooms, Salterra will feature a mix of one- and two-bedroom suites, alongside lavish three-bedroom Governor's Penthouse suites. In an environmentally conscious move, all accommodations will be equipped with filtered water dispensers to minimize the use of single-use plastic bottles.
The resort promises a diverse culinary adventure with its six distinct food and beverage outlets. Guests can look forward to Latin flavors at the beachfront Cobo Bar & Grill, casual dining at the food truck-inspired Jack & Jenny's, and quick bites at the Flamingo Cafe. For those seeking an upscale dining experience, Brine will offer a chef's tasting menu complemented by an extensive wine selection. The Regatta, an outdoor terrace, will provide a fusion of international and local dishes for breakfast and dinner, while Sisal, the lobby bar, will specialize in craft cocktails.
Beyond gastronomy, Salterra will boast a spa featuring eight treatment rooms, an outdoor lounge, and wellness facilities including a sauna and steam room, ensuring a holistic luxury experience for its guests.
As the first Turks & Caicos property to join the Luxury Collection, Salterra is set to become a standout destination, offering sophisticated travelers an exquisite blend of luxury accommodations, innovative dining, and wellness-focused amenities.
