New Restaurant Arrives Next Year in Toy Story Land, Disney

Officials at Walt Disney World Resort revealed that a significant addition will be coming to Toy Story Land in Hollywood Studios next season.

Roundup Rodeo BBQ Table Service Restaurant is set to open Spring 2023. It was created as part of a partnership between Walt Disney World Food & Beverage and Disney Pixar Animation Studios.

The storyline is that Andy built the restaurant for his friends from Toy Story. Each guest will receive a barbecue-inspired comfort food buffet, complete with a selection of side dishes and sweet surprises.

Roundup Rodeo BBQ will feature an impressive steam train, supported by colored pencils.

Andy created cardboard boxes with hand-drawn figures of audience members to fill the stands in his rodeo arena. The restaurant will also feature star performers such as Jessie, Trixie, and Bo Peep, along with Goat, Gruff, and her sheep Billy.

Disney Imagineers collaborated closely with animators, designers, and artists to bring characters from the films to life. This included creating full comic strips about Woody's adventures that Andy used for his dining room ceiling.

The Tokyo Disney Resort Toy Story Hotel officially opened to the public in April. It brings the magic of Disney films to Japan.
