This month marks 15 years of development, variety, and success and the company is still looking forward to 2023 and beyond for potential growth in the region.
Premier Inn, the largest British hotel chain, first opened in the Middle East on 8 April 2008 with the launch of Premier Inn Dubai Investments Park, and has since expanded to include 11 hotels throughout the United Arab Emirates and Qatar, with plans for more.
To celebrate their 15th anniversary, Premier Inn is giving away 15 free room nights to lucky Instagram users and offering thirty percent off on summertime lodging booked on their website or through OTAs on their anniversary weekend (8/9 April 2023) to show their appreciation. Rates as low as $22 per night are also available.
Simon Leigh, Managing Director, Premier Inn MENA, commented with the occasion:
“Over the last 15 years, Premier Inn has evolved to become the Middle East’s hotel brand of choice for high quality, high value accommodation. We thank our stakeholders, guests and talented team members who are pivotal to Premier Inn’s Middle East success story, and look forward to marking more key milestones in the next 15 years and beyond. “Premier Inn is renowned for its warm welcome, unrivalled British hospitality, hearty food, great leisure facilities and a restful night’s sleep. The result: consistently high occupancy levels, guests that return time and time again, rave reviews and superb ratings on Trip Advisor. In 15 short years, our brand has become deep-rooted in the region, and we are firmly committed to further expansion here.”
Group Finance Director Bikash Kumar Saraf also explained that luxury brands dominated the market in 2006, and there were very few hotels in the mid-range price range. That's the reason why Emirates partnered with Whitbread to introduce Premier Inn to Dubai as part of an effort to enhance hotel supply and vary alternatives for travellers. Two years later, in 2008, Premier Inn Dubai Investments Park opened its doors to the public.
The Premier Inn Dubai International Airport opened in 2010, after the opening of the Premier Inn Dubai Silicon Oasis in 2009. In 2011, the company debuted in Abu Dhabi, and in 2017, it entered the Qatari market. Premier Inn Dubai Barsha Heights, one of the hotel chain's newest locations, just celebrated its one year anniversary.
