Minor Hotels Unifies Brand Identity, Rebrands NH Hotel Group to Minor Hotels Europe & Americas

Hotels & Resorts

NH Hotel Group has been rebranded as Minor Hotels Europe & Americas, marking a significant step in Minor Hotels' efforts to unify its global corporate identity and expand its reach.

Minor Hotels has taken a decisive step towards strengthening its global presence by rebranding NH Hotel Group to Minor Hotels Europe & Americas. This strategic move was approved at the Annual General Meeting of NH Hotel Group’s shareholders last Friday, emphasizing a unified corporate identity across continents.

Dillip Rajakarier, Group CEO of Minor International and CEO of Minor Hotels, highlighted the importance of this rebranding: “Adopting the Minor Hotels Europe & Americas name is a key milestone in our journey to become a globally recognized organization. This new unified identity will enhance our ability to explore new business opportunities and achieve ambitious growth targets in the coming years.”

Since Minor Hotels acquired NH Hotel Group in 2018, the partnership has integrated and expanded its diverse portfolio of eight brands, including Anantara Hotels, Resorts & Spas, and NH Collection Hotels & Resorts, into new global markets. This collaboration has introduced NH’s trademarked brands into Asia, the Middle East, and the Indian Ocean while boosting Minor Hotels' presence in the upscale and luxury segments in Europe and the Americas.

Today, Minor Hotels Europe & Americas oversees more than 350 properties in 30 countries across its two named regions. The rebranding is expected to enhance operations and foster deeper connections with industry professionals, customers, and shareholders alike.

Looking ahead, Minor Hotels Europe & Americas is set to aggressively expand its portfolio, particularly focusing on upper-upscale and luxury brands. With plans to add 200 properties globally by the end of 2026, the company targets significant growth in Europe and the Americas, including over 50 new properties in these regions.

The origin of NH Hotel Group traces back to 1978 with the opening of NH Ciudad de Pamplona Hotel in Spain, growing to become one of the foremost European hotel chains. Following its integration into Minor Hotels, the group has continued to strengthen and expand its global footprint.

Minor International (MINT), the Thailand-listed parent company of Minor Hotels, was founded in 1967 and has grown from its first hotel in Pattaya, Thailand, to a major player in the hospitality industry worldwide, boasting over 540 hotels in 56 countries.

This rebranding represents not only a strategic alignment within Minor Hotels but also reinforces its commitment to growth and excellence in the global hospitality industry.
